Buick Gran Sport with Custom Satin Paint

Full Exterior restoration and custom paint for a nostalgic Buick Gran Sport Drag Car. Vehicle was first seen at the customer's garage already taken apart. The customer used our reccomended media blaster that revealed previosly done body work and a little bit of rust on the body.

All of the previous bondo (putty) was ground away and the metal properly reshaped back into its original posistion. The only real concerning rust damage was to the interior of the door whcich was cut out and repaired properly. A couple rust patches that were previously welded in were cleaned up to our high standard of repair.

The car was epoxy primered, blocked down by hand, urethane high build primer, blocked by hand again before applying a black sealer and finally sprayng the satin finish paint. All of the chrome and shiny trim was sent to a powder coating shop we use and was done in a a sating black finish. All of the bright red trim accents were hand painted by the owner of the vehicle and he hit it out of the park.

When we were finished assembling the body of the car, it was taken back to the customers home garage and the glass,trim and miscellaneous finishing touches were completed. We were able to bring this customers image of an awesome Buick from an image in his thoughts to a reality on the pavement.
